ok, I'm finally home after 5 crazy years south of the Michigan border. it feels great being back. I guess the old saying is true. "you never really get to appreciate the sweet without the sour", I'm not saying that living in South Carolina and Florida was sour, but it just never felt like home; not like this anyways. there are going to be many things that miss about both those places, especially the beaches and the warm fall weather in SC. I've found that I am more inspired by the northern way of life around here. it seems like time waits for you, it gives you a chance to enjoy the short time we have on this earth. with the winter soon approaching I can't help but feel excited about it all! I haven't seen the snow in what feels like decades.
